BCI Consulting Inc. provides EFAP short-term solution focused counselling services (Client-oriented, directive, cognitive behavioural) for relationship, psychological/emotional, crisis, work-related, abuse & dependency: 

Program Review & Development

BCI  provides organizations with expertise in the area of policy development and program review. Examples include: the development of policies related to substance abuse for the City of Burnaby, Critical Incident Response protocols for the Corporation of Delta, and refocusing the delivery of counselling services in a post-secondary institution.  The policy development not only involved a consultative process with the unions and management of the organizations, it also included the training of both senior and front line managers, as well as union stewards.
  • Calls/emails are returned within 24 hours.

  • Counsellors contact clients directly to arrange appointments. 

  • Appointments are available within 2-3 days.

  • Conveniently located counsellor offices.

  • Counsellors are minimum Masters-level, with at least 5 years experience. 

BCI tailors its programs to meet the varying needs of different companies. We offer not only per-capita (one cost per employee), but also fee-for-service (only hours used are charged) & flat fee programs (yearly budget). Please contact us for more information.

Mediation & Conflict Resolution

Conducted by trained professionals, these interventions, involving  either a number of individuals or entire workplace unit, assist in the resolution of difficulties between coworkers or workers and supervisors.

Critical Incident Response

 

BCI has a province-wide network of trained professionals providing critical incident response services and grief debriefings. Services are available on a group and individual basis.
